We currently have an opening for a full-time Housing Property Administrator position located in Scarborough, Ontario.
Position: Housing Property Administrator
Job Type: Full-time (35 hours/week)
Work period: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Manager of BuilTop Property Management, the Housing Administrator will be assigned to a co-operative site to provide day-to-day services to the co-operative’s members and its Board of Directors.
Duties will include
- Ensure work orders are processed in a timely manner
- Managing the co-op’s finance, processing payables and receivables
- Administer Rental Assistant programs in accordance with government requirements.
- Preparing board/AGM/GMM packages and taking minutes
- Attending Board and Committee meetings
- Supporting good governance in the co-op by the board and membership
- Maintaining full occupancy of the co-op
- Coordinate move in and out activities
- Respond to all inquiries by both members and non-members
- Ensuring that the co-op meets its legal obligations
-Tasks assigned by the Senior Manager
Skills & Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 1 – 2 years co-operative or non-profit property management experience or equivalent experience
- Strong financial and administrative skills
- Must be able to multitask
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
- Effective English oral and written communication skills
- Able to work effectively within a diverse community
- Experience working with volunteers and a board of directors
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Must agree to a Police Check
- Knowledge of co-op housing governance and building maintenance
Some travel and evening work may be required.
