Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, showers, hallways, lobbies, and other common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning as needed
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly, ensuring waste is handled in accordance with safety guidelines
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas requiring additional attention or maintenance needs
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks when necessary to support overall building upkeep
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Good physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the day
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is an advantage
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
