Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Skilled Labourer to join our team in Victoria, BC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with residential renovations, window installation, finishing work, and general construction tasks.
This role is best suited for someone who is practical, detail-oriented, physically capable, and comfortable working on different residential job sites. The work may include assisting with window installation, interior and exterior finishing, repairs, demolition, preparation, cleanup, and other general labour duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist with window installation, removal, preparation, and finishing
- Perform general residential repair and renovation tasks
- Support finishing work, including trim, caulking, sealing, patching, sanding, and basic painting
- Help with drywall repair, minor framing, flooring preparation, and other home improvement tasks
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
- Prepare work areas and protect floors, walls, and surrounding surfaces
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and properly
- Follow instructions from the site supervisor or lead installer
- Work at various residential construction and renovation sites
- Perform other general labour duties as required
Experience
- Previous experience in construction, renovations, window installation, or finishing work is preferred
- Experience with residential repair work is an asset
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools
- Basic understanding of job site safety
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical work
- Strong attention to detail and good work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Valid driver’s licence and access to transportation is an asset
- Ability to travel to different job sites in Victoria and surrounding areas
Pay: $22.50-$30.00 per hour
