At Larrek Investigations, we are currently seeking full-time candidates for the position of Administrative Assistant in our Waterloo office.

This position is full-time, starting at $17.00/per hour

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities for this role, but not limited to:

  • Evaluate the file to review facts, determine appropriate processes and plan the steps necessary for the conduct of the file, ensuring critical deadlines are identified and met__
  • Completion of word processing and database management and assistance with document production duties, including preparation of reports and letters, photocopying, scanning and binding
  • Assistance with other duties as assigned by the office administrator or office managerQualifications
  • Qualifications and Skills
  • One to three years’ administration related experience
  • A certificate or diploma in an administration or legal related field would be considered an asset
  • Willingness to learn
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Produce a high quality and quantity of work product, occasionally under tight timelines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, highly organized and proactive
  • Capacity to work independently as well in a team environment
  • Ability to deal with a constant workflow, while being able to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Experience
  • Advanced knowledge in the use of MS Office software, specifically Word
  • Experience with word processing and document formatting with excellent attention to detail and high regard for accuracy
  • Professional written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
