Balcaen & Sons Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, and Electrical are looking for a person with customer service experience to fill a part time position.
The service writer is responsible for communicating and supporting the technicians and problem solving between the company and customers. A tremendous emphasis is placed on follow-through and a positive upbeat attitude.
The ability to work well under pressure and deal with constantly changing situations is a must. Industry knowledge or experience is a strong asset.
Some of the duties as the service writer, but not limited to, are as follows:
- Answer requests for service and installation from internal personnel or directly from the customer
- Contact customers to confirm scheduling
- Schedule or reschedule appointments with customers
- Help to research and resolve customer problems and needs
- Take service calls and receive and direct other inbound customer calls to appropriate departments
- Keep customers informed of the status of their calls
- Other duties as assigned
- 7:30 am to 1:00 pm most days, opportunity for more or less hours depending on seasonal needs.
