Certified Dental Assistant – Full Time Orthodontic Office Position
Our established orthodontic practice is seeking a full-time Certified Dental Assistant for a position combining both clinical assisting and orthodontic laboratory duties.
Applicants must have completed, or be close to completing, an accredited CDA II program, including training that permits the taking of impressions and radiographs.
This position is not solely a chairside role. Orthodontic laboratory duties will be an ongoing part of the position. The successful candidate will be highly trained to fabricate orthodontic appliances and perform related laboratory procedures.
Because part of the position involves working at our Highway 15 location, applicants must have independent and reliable transportation.
Our Office Hours
We offer a schedule that differs from many dental offices:
- Monday to Thursday
- 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Full-time salaried position
- Typically four weeks plus all statutory holidays

Responsibilities include:
- Orthodontic laboratory duties, including:
- Fabrication of retainers and orthodontic appliances
- Pouring and trimming models
- Working with orthodontic materials and equipment
- Maintaining laboratory workflow and organization
- Chairside orthodontic assisting
- Taking impressions and radiographs
- Sterilization and infection control
- Digital records and patient support
