We are hiring Forklift Operators in Scarborough to support the launch of a new 24/7 operation. To accelerate the hiring process, the interview day will be held on July 14, where selected candidates will have the opportunity to complete interviews and pre-employment steps all in one day.

Currently operating on a rotating three-shift schedule (days, afternoons, and midnights) within a 24/5 operation, with a planned transition to a 24/7 continental schedule consisting of 12-hour shifts.

What you’ll do
As a Forklift Operator, you’ll be at the heart of operations: right on the floor where materials take shape. Your day-to-day:

Operate a forklift to load/unload trailers and move materials across the plant

Perform daily safety inspections and maintain/charge batteries
-
Verify shipments against loading lists and shipping documentation
-
Load trailers accurately and record required shipment details
-
Receive and inspect incoming materials; complete all paperwork

Scan and enter inventory data in SAP; distribute materials to proper areas
-
Maintain cleanliness (5S), assist team when needed, and report issues promptly
Your strengths as a Forklift Operator:
You are a natural fit for this role if you have:

High school diploma (or equivalent) with ability to read and write English
-
Valid Ontario driver’s license; forklift license preferred or willingness to obtain certification

Basic computer and math skills
-
Strong soft skills: attention to detail, adaptability, teamwork, communication, time management, and commitment to health and safety

Use SAP/electronic systems for inventory tracking and reporting
-
Proficiency with computers (PC literacy) and basic systems knowledge
-
Availability to attend an on-site interview in person on July 14 and complete any follow-up steps
