We are currently looking for an in-house MEDIA DESIGNER who can consistently bring the Trapeze Group brand to life.

Some of the responsibilities would entail: Video production and editing, storyboarding, sound editing, from-scratch animation (in various styles), Powerpoint presentation design, and info-graphic development. Additionally, the selected candidate would develop and maintain video/motion standards for the global Trapeze Brand.

Be an integral part of the Brand and Marketing teams, leading and/or supporting a variety of media-related projects, from creative development through to final output
Successfully juggle multiple projects at the same time and maintain agreed upon delivery deadlines
Develop and maintain the motion-related components of the Trapeze Group brand as well as its sub-areas such as ThinkTransit: The Trapeze Technology Conference, the Transit Unplugged Podcast, and the Trapeze Collaborate Online Community
Support initiatives that would require motion graphics, video editing/development and presentations for standard Marketing channels, events and conferences
Provide strong creative involvement for sales pitches and proposals by participating in pitch presentation brainstorms, designing presentation materials, and creating visuals to be used in written proposal responses
Administer, maintain and update the internal asset library, including brand assets, and templates for the greater organization to use
Creatively support internal requirements for the company intranet, employee events, and Town Hall presentations
MANDATORY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
5 years of experience in Graphic Design and motion graphics
Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design or similar field
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition) and Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
Experience in developing various types of videos, including explainer videos, sizzle reels, corporate videos, illustrative animations, etc, that are aligned to brand guidelines/style guides
Experience producing exciting and innovative presentations in PowerPoint
Exceptional sense of visual design, including typography, colour theory, layout and composition
Ability to transform complex technical data into meaningful visualizations, both static (print) and motion (animation)
Keen attention to detail and ability to transition from one priority to another
Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation abilities
Effectively take direction and work both collaboratively and autonomously with honesty and integrity
Strong portfolio of past work and ability to work across styles and channels
Superior video project planning abilities
Able to work with event videographers from on-site video capture to post-production work
Conceptualize and produce storyboards for footage and/or motion graphics videos for internal and external purposes
Advanced sense of motion design and video/audio editing from concept to completion
Confidence in your abilities, willing to try new things and push the envelope
Passion and excitement about the field of visual storytelling and design
