Golabs Canada Inc. is a leading e-commerce company specializing in electric bikes, electric scooters, and sustainable mobility products across Canada and North America. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team.
This position is ideal for candidates with strong accounting experience in China who are looking to further develop their careers in Canada within a fast-growing international business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Support tax filings, audits, and compliance requirements
- Work closely with management to provide financial analysis and reporting
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and business partners
- Assist in improving accounting processes and internal controls
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
- Previous accounting experience in China is required
- Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or other accounting software
Perferred
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, or import/export businesses
- Knowledge of Canadian accounting practices and tax regulations
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
