Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to order fulfillment, inventory management, and equipment operation. Duties
- Load and unload products from trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling and proper placement.
- Operate order pickers and forklifts to retrieve items from storage for order fulfillment.
- Build and package orders accurately for shipment, adhering to quality standards.
- Maintain an organized warehouse environment by following proper inventory management practices.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Utilize the warehouse management system to track inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
