Job Summary
Ridgeback Basement Systems is growing and looking to hire full-time Construction Workers to join our team.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday with occasional weekends 7am is start time
- Must be comfortable working year-round with no seasonal layoffs
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to lift heavy brutes of concrete, mix concrete, jackhammer concrete.
- Support skilled tradespeople by holding or passing tools, materials, and supplies as needed
- Perform general cleanup duties to maintain a safe and tidy work environment
Experience
- Previous experience in general labour, construction, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on job sites
- Reliable transportation to and from work sites is an asset
