Overview
We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of various products and systems in residential or commercial settings. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. The Installer will work closely with clients to ensure that installations meet their specifications and quality standards.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine installation requirements.
- Perform installations of products including but not limited to cabinetry, fixtures, and hardware.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various installation tasks.
- Execute caulking and sealing as necessary to ensure a finished product that meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines.
- Conduct site assessments before installation to identify potential challenges or modifications needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.
- Lift heavy materials and equipment as required during installations, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Installer or in a similar maintenance person/carpenter role is preferred.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in installation tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
