Khaalsa Construction Ltd. is seeking a motivated and reliable Carpenter to join our construction team in Red Deer, Alberta. The successful candidate will assist with residential and commercial construction projects, performing a variety of carpentry tasks while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
Responsibility-
•Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
•Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other construction materials.
•Build, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, roofs, doors, and windows.
•Install trim, cabinetry, and finishing components.
•Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
•Ensure work is completed according to building codes and project specifications.
•Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
•Work collaboratively with supervisors and other tradespeople
Requirements
•Experience: 6 months to 1 year of carpentry experience.
•Secondary (high school) education preferred.
•Ability to use hand and power tools.
•Physically capable of lifting materials and working in various weather conditions.
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
