The Person We Are Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer who is open-minded and flexible to learn the ways we do business. Your role is flexible to suit the needs of the team, but the focus will be on providing high-value, technical project management to our clients and internally to our team. You are a self-starter who appreciates some autonomy to carry out your work and would be excited to collaborate and engage the resources of our Toronto office. You have the self-awareness to understand your limitations and know how to ask for and accept support when needed. You have excellent communication skills – both verbal and written are essential. Our clients include contractors and developers across Canada. Listening to project team members (design engineers, CAD specialists, field specialists, legal & financial/invoicing) internal and external, is the key to delivering the services and support they require.
As a Project Engineer at Isherwood, you will work on a wide variety of geostructural projects across Canada.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master s degree in Geotechnical/Civil Engineering or related field.
- P. Eng. certification required.
- Experience in managing and working on a variety of sizes and types of multi-disciplinary projects for various client types.
- Understanding of industry standard practices and processes
- You appreciate great design – solving puzzles captures your imagination
- You are down to earth, versatile, practical, and a natural collaborator
- You have excellent communication skills
- You love giving good service
- You are a ‘People Person,’ delighting in what can happen when trust and respect are revered
- You have natural ease with problem solving and an optimistic outlook

- Valid drivers license with access to a personal vehicle.
