Landscape Design-Build Apprentice

Want to build real skills in landscape construction and be part of a crew that takes pride in top-quality work? Bluescape is hiring a Design-Build Apprentice to learn the fundamentals of hardscape and softscape installation while supporting our field crews.
No experience is required if you’re dependable, coachable, and ready to work.
What you’ll do
- Help with daily site setup and end-of-day cleanup (keep sites safe, clean, professional)
- Move and stage materials (soil, stone, plants, pavers, etc.)
- Learn and assist with:
- Digging, grading, raking, and site prep
- Planting support, soil placement, mulch and decorative stone
- Basic edging and bed prep
- Hardscape base prep support (and compactor use after training/sign-off)
- Occasional irrigation support (trenching, material handling) depending on the job
- Learn safe tool use, equipment basics, and “how we do it here” standards
- Ask questions, take feedback, and improve week over week
What we’re looking for
- Strong work ethic, good attitude, and consistent attendance
- Comfortable working outdoors in all seasonal conditions
- Physically able to handle demanding work (lifting, shoveling, kneeling)
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team
- Reliable transportation (driver’s license is an asset)
- Basic measurement/math
