Sales & Leasing Representative (Independent Contractor)
Commission-Based | Flexible Schedule
JH Property Management is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales & Leasing Representative to assist with leasing residential rental properties throughout Woodstock, Kitchener, and surrounding areas.
All leads are provided by JHPM. No cold calling, networking, advertising, or lead generation required.
Responsibilities
- Respond to assigned leads
- Schedule and conduct property showings
- Follow up with prospective tenants
- Collect and review rental applications
- Verify references, employment, and income
- Run SingleKey reports
- Recommend qualified applicants for approval
- Maintain accurate records within Follow Up Boss (FUB)
- Prepare the Ontario Standard Lease and supporting lease documents for approved applicants
- Ensure all lease information is accurate and complete prior to submission for review and execution
Requirements
- Valid G Driver's Licence
- Reliable vehicle and valid insurance
- Ability to travel throughout Woodstock, Kitchener, and surrounding areas
- Evening and occasional weekend availability
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Must maintain a valid HST number and invoice JH Property Management for commissions earned
- Previous leasing, sales, customer service, or property management experience is an asset
Compensation
- Commission paid per successful lease
- Compensation paid on the tenant's move-in date
- Flexible schedule with no guaranteed hours
- Estimated annual earnings: $25,000-$60,000+ Earning potential varies based on leasing activity, vacancy levels, and individual performance
