Skilled Landscape Technician – WLS Landscaping
About the Role
We're looking for experienced landscapers who know what they're doing and take pride in their work. This isn't a "show up and push a wheelbarrow" position—we need people who can read a site, understand what needs to happen, and execute quality work without constant hand-holding.
As a Skilled Landscape Technician, you'll be working alongside our Lead Hands and Foremen on high-end residential projects across Ottawa. We specialize in interlock patios, retaining walls, and drainage systems—the kind of work where the details matter and shortcuts show.

What You'll Be Doing
- Site prep, grading, and leveling
- Installing interlock pavers, natural stone, retaining walls, and steps
- Assisting with drainage systems and base work
- Operating equipment like mini excavators, skid steers, plate compactors, and cut-off saws
- Working with your crew to keep jobs moving efficiently and safely
- Taking direction well, but also thinking ahead and solving problems on the fly
What We're Looking For
- At least 2-3 years of experience in landscaping or construction
- Hands-on experience with hardscape installations (pavers, walls, steps)
- Comfortable operating small equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work—we don't chase people down
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license preferred

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
