The Marketing Assistant will be a member of the Global Marketing and Communications team and support the team in a range of marketing administration activities. This is a generalist marketing role and the successful candidate will work to position Cambrex as the small molecule company, ensuring the brand promise is communicated consistently across all marketing channels, increasing the share of voice across the CDMO and pharmaceutical industry.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The Marketing Assistant will contribute towards the successful delivery of Cambrex’s marketing and communications strategy and the achievement of business and marketing objectives
Advertisement campaign management, supply and liaison with media planning partner
Coordinate the ordering, delivery and shipments of marketing and sales materials and company literature and stationery
Be the go-to contact to enhance customer experience prior to and when visiting Cambrex sites – travel guides, materials, giveaways
Print management of marketing and sales materials and company literature
Marketing logistics including management of internal shipments to company sites and offices and external shipments to events and exhibitions
Management of Cambrex’s European materials storage facility
Management of company online profiles and directory listings including event organizer website listings
Management of all marketing merchandise and exhibition materials including regularly auditing stock, re-ordering, purchasing new giveaway/merchandise items and seeking best value and pricing
Marketing campaign data cleansing activities for prospect and customer data
Support management of company inquiries via website and email
Working as part of the team to complete regular competitor analysis, seeking up to date information on competitor activities (New events, exhibitions, webinars, general communications)
Marketing invoice/ tracking and supplier set up
Website content management support including the company Careers website
Support the development and maintenance of all marketing and communications and sales materials including marketing document and presentation templates.

Requirements:
Experience (>1 year) in a generalist marketing role. B2B experience would be an advantage
A degree in marketing, business or science subject and/or a professional marketing qualification by an accredited organization
Proficient in use of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience of WordPress, Salesforce, Pardot, Mailchimp, Adobe InDesign and/or Illustrator would be an advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Confident, self-motivated and a strong team player
Comfortable in either a company based office/facility location or home-office based environment
Travel as required both in Europe and US is essential for internal meetings and site support as well as external tradeshows and symposia
The position must be based in North East England, UK.
