The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of inventory management including, but not limited to: warehousing, shipping, receiving, refurbishment, and recycling of all equipment for Bruce Telecom.
Reports to: Finance Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Assists with ensuring stock levels of all required inventory items meets established minimum standards. Communicate with impacted departments if/when reorder is necessary.
2. Order products as per the Bruce Telecom Purchasing and Procurement Policies and Procedures.
3. Prepare supplies and inventory for various locations throughout the Bruce Telecom serving areas to ensure business needs are met. This includes, but is not limited to, retail locations, work centers, I&R vehicles, and any other designated areas. Coordinate appropriate delivery of items to needed location.
4. Responsible for collection, processing, and distribution of all mail requirements for internal and external customers.
5. Maintain electronic database of inventory catalogue ensuring that all items are properly labelled for reference.
6. Assists with all duties required to receive product including, but not limited to: verify received goods to shipping documents, record into inventory management system, and follow-up with vendors regarding discrepancies in a timely manner.
7. Complete processes for product returns including documentation, shipping, follow-up and receipt of repaired or replaced items.
8. Ensure all inventory requests are reported to appropriate work order in a timely manner.
9. Responsible for monthly cycle counts for all inventory warehouse locations including, but not limited to: retail locations, work centers, I&R vehicles, and any other designated areas. All discrepancies are to be investigated and adjustments to be applied in a timely manner. Communicate any discrepancies and adjustments as part of monthly report to management.
10. Co-ordinate the process for proper disposal of inventory identified as obsolete, damaged or as otherwise noted. Communicate all write offs to management monthly.
11. Ensure that the inventory storage areas are labelled, organized, clean and secure at all times.
12. Assists with for the refurbishment of all returned customer CPE. This includes but is not limited to: cleaning of the equipment, removal from customers' accounts, updating firmware if required, moving of equipment back into inventory circulation, and e-waste of unusable items. Communicate all e-waste items to Finance Department.
13. Assist with yearly physical inventory count process. Work with other departments throughout this process to ensure accurate count, input, and reporting in a timely manner.
14. Required to analyze existing processes and procedures to look for areas of improvement and increased efficiency. Communicate suggestions to appropriate management.
15. Complete other duties as assigned by management as required to meet business needs.
