Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers, back hoe and trailers.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct assembly, disassembly, and replacement of parts to restore equipment functionality
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and equipment operation to prevent accidents
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs for all machinery serviced
- Collaborate with team members to diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions promptly
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment and trailers
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment, trailers and automotive repair techniques
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Skilled in electrical troubleshooting, and using hand tools or power tools for repairs
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with team members regarding repairs or maintenance needs
- Valid certifications in automotive repair or industrial equipment maintenance are a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be able to travel.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 44.0 per week
