Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional for a Records Analyst opportunity.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working with documents, analyzing information, and ensuring records are accurate, complete, and properly organized. The successful candidate will support the review and processing of information requests, prepare and organize documentation, identify sensitive information, and assist with maintaining accurate records throughout the request process.
The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and previous experience working with records, document review, information management, or similar administrative processes. The ability to work with confidential information and manage multiple priorities in a structured environment will be important for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Review records and supporting documentation related to Access to Information requests.
- Organize records by identifying duplicate information, arranging documentation chronologically, and preparing files for further review.
- Identify information that may require redaction.
- Support the preparation of completed document packages for release.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information in accordance with privacy, security, and information management requirements.
- Prepare initial recommendations and supporting materials for review by senior team members.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience proofreading, reviewing, and formatting Microsoft Word documents in a professional work setting.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in information governance, records management, or information management.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with large volumes of information.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Experience working with confidential or sensitive documentation.
- Experience working in an environment where work is managed through a ticketing, case management, or request-tracking system would be considered an asset.
