Accounts Payable Specialist – Semi-Trailer Sales & Leasing

About the Role
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. This role maintains strong vendor relationships, resolves payment discrepancies, and supports the Finance team with reporting, month-end activities, and continuous process improvements.

Role Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Distribute incoming invoices to various departments for approval and PO review
- Input approved invoices in multiple currencies (CAD and USD)
- Complete the banking process for payables, verify accuracy of deposits
- Liaison between parts department at Breslau and Mississauga to resolve discrepancies on invoicing
Other Admin
- Create shipments for Purolator or other couriers as needed
- Order office supplies as needed
- Receive and review mail for the business
- Other duties as assigned by the Controller
What we are looking for:
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
Qualifications:
- Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience
- Experience in automotive/transportation/trucking industry an asset
- Proficiency in outlook, excel and data entry

Pay: $45,000.00-$63,000.00 per year
