SCHEDULE: 5 days per week | 5:45 am to 1:15 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and interact with guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Accurately deliver in-room dining orders promptly.
- Set up trays and carts according to hotel standards, ensuring all food items are properly presented.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized recommendations on menu selections.
- Ensure all orders are complete and meet the hotel's quality standards before delivery.
- Handle guest concerns or special requests efficiently and with a positive attitude.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including carts, trays, and prep areas.
- Assist with morning prep work, including restocking supplies and food items.
- Communicate any guest preferences or special instructions to the kitchen and other relevant departments.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with clearing trays and carts from guest rooms and hallways.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service during peak times.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be available to work early mornings (5:45am).
- Previous experience in food and beverage service, ideally in a hotel setting, is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage items and ability to make recommendations.
- Must be able to lift and carry trays and carts weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of safe food handling and hygiene practices.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
