The strategic role of the IT Desktop Support I is to provide technical support for software and hardware network equipment to ensure that the organization can effectively operate.

Major Functions and Responsibilities

Provide technical support throughout the organization as required
Install, configure, test, maintatin and troubleshoot end user hardware and software.
Conduct deployment of computer hardware and software.
Coordinate and facilitate move, add, and change requests as required.
Provide support for Microsoft Office (2010, 2013) and Windows (7, 8.1) workstations and tablets
Provide support for healthcare applications including Sunquest and Copath.
Assess the need for, and implement performance upgrades to, PC's.
Collaborate with Systems Administrators to ensure efficient operation of the desktop computing environment.
Maintain inventory of all computer hardware.

Required Experience
Working knowledge of Health Information Act, Privacy legislation, and other guidelines and regulations
Experience with Helpdesk ticketing systems
Experience supporting Skype for Business (Lync) corporate UC systems
Minimum Qualifications

College diploma or University degree in the field of computer science or software engineering or 2+ years equivalent work experience.
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology preferred.
A+ certification preferred.
Valid driver’s license required

The current shift indicated is subject to change due to operational requirements
Please note that this is a temporary position, ending on or before March 31, 2020.
This position will include travel within Edmonton and Alberta as required
All persons newly hired to DynaLIFEDx must show their confirmation of SIN letter/SIN card and government issued photo ID to Human Resources prior to commencing work.

Individuals hired into all positions must provide verification of their highest level of education.
