About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and people-oriented individual to manage our ice cream truck and gelato catering division. This role is the central point of contact for catering inquiries and event coordination, ensuring smooth communication between clients, internal teams, and field operations.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication & Sales Support

Respond promptly to new client inquiries via email, phone, and online forms

Answer incoming phone calls between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm

Provide basic catering information, availability, and pricing

Follow up on leads to convert inquiries into booked events
CRM & Lead Management

Organize and manage all leads in the CRM system

Track inquiry status, follow-ups, bookings, and client details

Maintain clean and up-to-date records for reporting and forecasting
Lead Generation

Proactively look for new catering opportunities (corporate events, festivals, private events, partnerships, etc.)

Reach out to potential clients and partners via email, phone, or networking

Assist with outbound sales initiatives and seasonal promotions
Event Coordination

Coordinate booked events with the catering manager

Communicate event details such as date, time, location, guest count, and special requests

Ensure all information is clearly passed to operations and field teams

Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
Internal Communication

Work closely with the catering manager to align schedules and logistics

Communicate changes, updates, or special requirements clearly and in a timely manner
Qualifications & Skills

2+ years B2B sales experience, ideally food service, catering, hospitality, or events

Proven outbound track record and comfortable with cold calls, cold email, and walk-ins

Comfortable with both transactional sales (catering, 1–14 day cycle) and relationship sales (longer-cycle B2B accounts)

CRM-disciplined and experience with CRM systems is a strong asset

Strong written English, confident on the phone

Self-starter as this role is not micromanaged, so we need someone who runs their own pipeline

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously
Nice to Have

Existing network in Vancouver corporate, event, or hospitality space

Experience selling to offices, schools, or wedding planners

Background in food, beverage, coffee, or specialty CPG (relevant for the B2B expansion)

Bilingual (Mandarin, Punjabi, Tagalog)
