Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, credit, and digital payments
- Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked according to company standards
- Provide clear communication about promotions, store policies, and product features in multiple languages if applicable
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Assist with basic inventory management tasks and support overall store organization
- Demonstrate technical sales experience by explaining product features and benefits to customers
- Support team members with time management to ensure efficient checkout lines during busy periods
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering roles, preferably with technical or electronics products
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for transaction accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiasm for learning about new products and technology sales techniques
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin or Cantonese languages will be an added advantage.
