We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cafe Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our bustling cafe. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily cafe operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for transactions and reporting
- Lead, motivate, and train staff on food service, customer service, and hospitality best practices
- Interview and hire new team members to build a skilled and efficient workforce
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures
- Develop staff schedules to meet operational needs while optimizing labor costs
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels
- Implement restaurant management strategies to improve overall efficiency and service quality
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
- Familiarity with restaurant management systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling procedures, and restaurant standards
- Barista experience or bar management skills are considered a plus
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills

Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour
