Part-Time Dinner Server
Victoria Harbour House Restaurant is hiring a Part-Time Dinner Server to join our team.
We are a well-established steak and seafood restaurant in Victoria, known for traditional full-service dining and attentive guest service. We are looking for a reliable, professional, and friendly server who takes pride in creating an excellent dining experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to guests.
- Present menus and explain menu items, specials, and beverages.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Maintain good knowledge of our menu and make recommendations when appropriate.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and other service staff.
- Process payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining room.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant service standards.
- Work efficiently and professionally during busy dinner service.
- Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience is preferred, particularly in a full-service or fine-dining restaurant.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Professional, friendly, and positive attitude.
- Able to remain calm and organized during busy dinner service.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tables.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Previous POS experience is an asset.
- Good English communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety practices.
- Serving It Right certification is an asset.
- Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing consistent service.
