Project Manager

WINMAR® Kamloops is looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our restoration team. This role is responsible for managing restoration and reconstruction projects from initial emergency response through final completion while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships with clients, insurance partners, subcontractors, and our internal team.

What You'll Do
- Manage restoration and reconstruction projects from start to finish.
- Respond to emergency losses as part of an on-call rotation.
- Scope losses and prepare estimates using industry-standard software.
- Coordinate emergency crews, trades, equipment, and materials.
- Develop project schedules and monitor budgets, timelines, and profitability.
- Communicate with homeowners, commercial clients, insurance adjusters, and property managers throughout each project.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets building codes, company standards, and customer expectations.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with WorkSafeBC regulations and WINMAR policies.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate project updates to management.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in restoration or construction.
- Experience with insurance restoration is considered a strong asset.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with industry software such as Docusketch, PSA, Xactimate, or similar estimating software is an asset.
- Valid BC Driver's Licence with an acceptable driver's abstract.
- Ability to successfully complete a Criminal Record Check.
- IICRC certifications in Water Damage Restoration, Fire & Smoke Restoration, or Odour Control are considered an asset.
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular site visits and the ability to:
- Lift up to 40 lbs independently and heavier loads with assistance.
- Work in confined spaces and occasionally at heights.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including fitted respirators when required.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
