We are looking to hire 2 Heavy Equipment Operators for a civil construction project (term 1 month) located in Vegreville, Alberta.
Operate excavator and other heavy equipment as required on a civil construction project.
Road building, culvert installs, drainage, holding pond excavation, grading,
Must have knowledge/experience on civil construction projects & processes.
Must be self motivated and able to work efficiently with little supervision. Require strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to take direction from other operators and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards as well as the ability to collaborate with other members of the project.
Must be able to follow and encourage safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment.
Require strong physical stamina and the ability to work in inclement weather.
Position may require overtime.
This is a contract position to begin early July 2026 and last approximately 4 weeks.
Wage range: $35-$40/hour based on experience.
