Job Summary:
The Gate 1 Canada Sales Office Manager will establish and manage a call center in Canada, including leading daily operations, recruiting, training, and development, with the goal of delivering a high quality of customer service and satisfaction through the sales of Gate 1 Travel’s packages in the Canadian market.
Responsibilities:
- Work together with Gate 1 in the US to select and establish a physical office location in Canada
- With the support of the US team, coordinate the set-up of the office including the securing of all necessary business licenses, insurance, furniture and technical equipment
- Learn and understand Gate 1’s product, goals and business strategies
- Participate in the development of website content adapted for Canadian requirements
- Together with the US Human Resource department, establish salary and benefits requirements
- Understand Gate 1 company policies and adapt to Canadian standards
- Recruit call center sales representatives and coordinate onboarding and training
- Manage the daily operations of Gate 1 Canada
- Lead the reservations sales team to achieve sales goals and performance targets through coaching and performance management
- Research trends and collaborate in the development of regional sales and marketing initiatives
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, talent management, and Canadian employment law
- Prepare periodic reports to US leadership
- Any other tasks required to fulfil the role of Sales Office Manager, Gate 1 Canada
Experience:
- 3+ years of proven experience in sales team management
- 5 + years in sales or a similar role
- Experience in the tourism industry is required·
- Demonstrated background in sales and team management in the travel industry
- Tour operator experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Pay: $67,581.00-$80,649.00 per year
