With a commitment to delivering high-quality waste services - including commercial, residential, construction, liquid waste, hauling, and processing - they operate with a dedicated team of over 45 employees.
Our client is looking for a Waste Collection Driver to operate box trucks in the Salmon Arm, BC area.

Responsibilities
- Drive box trucks to collect refuse and recyclables from designated locations within the service area.
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Plan and navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps to optimize time and service delivery.
- Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and cleanliness to keep equipment in optimal condition.

Qualifications
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly and perform manual tasks such as pushing, pulling, and climbing.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
- Experience in waste collection, material handling, or a related field an asset.
- Ability to navigate routes and use GPS or mapping tools effectively.
