We are actively looking for a Crane Operator to join our team! Located in North Langley, our operations are central to the Fraser Valley and Vancouver. Heritage Steel Sales Ltd. operates from our state of the art shop that includes our:
- Reinforcing steel shipping and storage yard
- Shearing and fabricating facilities
- Estimating, detailing, sales and administrative office
Position Functions:
- Identify and pick structural steel/rebar from the warehouse racks to fill orders
- Use of various machines (after training) including overhead cranes, saws for cutting, rebar bender, and shears
- Feeding and unloading processing machines
- Assisting process control and machine operators in performing their duties
- Maintaining a clean work area and equipment used
- Any additional duties as assigned
Skills:
- Experience operating an overhead crane
- Ability to lift up to 23kg (50lbs)

Education/Experience:
- Previous experience working in an industrial environment is preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating an overhead crane
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
- Approved safety footwear is required
- Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset
