We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. Your expertise in automotive repair and exceptional customer service skills will help ensure a seamless experience for our clients, while also driving sales and upselling additional services.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing exceptional service from the moment they arrive.
- Assess customer needs by listening carefully to their concerns regarding vehicle performance and maintenance.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs, ensuring customers understand the work required.
- Collaborate with mechanics to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of services.
- Manage service appointments and maintain an organized schedule to maximize efficiency.
- Process transactions, including cash handling and invoicing, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition, contributing to overall sales goals.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience in an automotive repair environment or dealership setting is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge is essential to effectively communicate with both customers and technicians.
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on building relationships and enhancing client satisfaction.
- Sales experience, particularly in upselling products or services, is a valuable asset.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
