As an Enterprise Architect you will be responsible for the definition and continuous improvement of enterprise architecture and governance frameworks and for the development of architecture roadmaps and strategies for improving the technology landscape that aligns with AGLC enterprise architecture and achieves business outcomes. You will balance engagement with day-to-day operations with keeping a focus on strategic planning and initiatives.
You will work as a part of a high performing team that defines architecture governance framework and explores technology opportunities options aligned with long term objectives. You will work closely with AGLC’s domain architects, solution architects, external architecture consultants and product delivery team in all aspects of design, development and deployment of solutions in order to align with the organization’s architecture principles, policies and standards.
You will work closely with AGLC’s Enterprise Portfolio team to perform opportunity assessments, dependency analysis and provide architectural recommendations based on different categories of IT work including day-to-day, corporate projects and enhancements.
As an Enterprise Architect, you will partner with domain architects in developing and maintaining the AGLC technology modernization plan, and will exercise proper architecture planning to ensure alignment between the AGLC enterprise architecture and the AGLC technology modernization plan. Minimum of a University Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Minimum 4 years of related Enterprise Architecture experience OR 5 years of Solution Architecture experience
The following will be considered assets:
Experience in leading complex IT projects
Training and/or Certification in TOGAF
3 years’ experience working with at least one of the five architecture domains
2 years’ experience in workshop facilitation
1 year of experience in enterprise application integration
1 year of experience in RFP preparation
