Well established truck repair facility located in Lower Mainland of British Columbia seeks highly skilled and well experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic with at least 5 years of work direct experience on commercial truck repair and maintenance.
Key responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and repair of all makes of commercial vehicles
- Diagnose/check malfunction/faults of truck-trailer systems using computerized equipment /device to determine whether replacement or repair is needed to correct the faults found on the truck-trailer systems
- Identify warrantable repairs
- Road test vehicles to diagnose problems
- Preventive maintenance on vehicles
- Document work performed
- Maintain safe work environment
