About the Role
As a Toddler Teacher, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom where children can learn through exploration, play, and meaningful relationships. You will work collaboratively with families and fellow educators to support each child's development and foster a love of learning.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the CEFA curriculum.
- Create a warm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Observe and document children's learning and developmental progress.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared classroom.
- Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3 preferred).
- Previous experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education.
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
