Job Description
The successful candidate will work with an utility as a Project Manager and manage schedule, cost and subconractors change orders. This role will report to senior executives on a regular basis with details of project progress and budget utilization.
Responsibilities:
· Report directly to the utility Senior Manager/Director
· Overall project schedule; ongoing analysis and schedule maintenance; ensure milestones are tracking to completion etc.
· Resources allocation; collaborate with project stakeholders to manage changes etc.
· Permanent connection budget adherence – early identification of costs increase/decrease projections; provide data to Senior leadership for stakeholder engagement
· Change log – keep tight controls on changes impacting spend and/or schedule; ensure all are documented and approvals obtained
· Risk log – flag, manage updates and outcomes etc.
· Permits, Agreements etc. – ensure all sign offs are pro-actively managed to prevent construction delays
· Analysis and reporting
· Weekly senior leadership status review
· Monthly Project Status Reporting
Requirements:
· Engineering experience in utility sector strongly preferred
· 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering/business or related field
· Expert in MS Project
· Knowledge of Primavera P6 is good to have
· Occasional travel to job site may be required
· Construction project experience

Pay: $75,000.00-$83,000.00 per year
