As a Senior Manager in the Value Creation team, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of teams and lines of service across PwC and is focused on supporting our clients within Financial Services which includes Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance, Asset & Wealth Management and Private Equity/Pension Funds.
Meaningful Work You'll Be Part Of:
As a Senior Manager, you'll lead cross-disciplinary teams of problem solvers, helping to tackle complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will advise clients on strategic issues in connection with growth, capability building, and operational excellence – from both an organic and inorganic (M&A) lens. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Strategic Analysis and Problem Solving
Develop actionable strategies and present findings to clients in a clear, concise manner, being able to connect dots across workstreams, projects and programs
Client Engagement and Relationship Management
Business Development and Thought Leadership
Project Leadership and Delivery
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, and develop project plans, define project objectives, and manage resources effectively
Team Management and Development
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of associates and managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Experiences and Skills You'll Use to Solve:
The successful candidate is a professional at either a consulting firm, a large-scale asset manager, private equity firm, pension fund, or large corporation with a minimum of 8 years of experience. Experience in Financial Services is an asset.
Professional services experience is a must, along with demonstrated experience leading teams through complex engagements. Previous experiences are likely to include:
Reflecting market, competitive and other external drivers with specific areas of focus including Corporate Strategy, Business Strategy, Deals Strategy, and Transformation
Experienced with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations, and team leadership
Building productive relationships with team members and clients, both long term and day-to-day, by using a collaborative approach with thorough listening skills and the ability to manage through influence
Advanced university degree in public or business administration, finance, economics, engineering, law, or related fields. CFA or similar qualification is desirable but not required.

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
