We are a growing Specialty Technical Services company seeking experienced Heat Treatment Technicians / Heat Treaters to join our team. Position Responsibilities:
- Perform preheat, post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) and bake-out activities
- Setup and operation of heat treatment units and associated equipment
- Install heating elements, insulation and thermocouples
- Monitor and record temperatures throughout heat treatment cycles
- Read and follow heat treatment procedures, specifications and client requirements
- Complete required heat treatment documentation, charts and records
- Inspect cables, leads, thermocouples and equipment prior to use
- Safely lift, carry and move heat treatment equipment, cables and materials
- Climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding and access equipment as required
- Work safely at heights and within industrial facilities
- Perform physically demanding work associated with equipment setup and removal
- Follow all company, client and site-specific safety requirements
Preferred Training & Qualifications:
- Previous industrial heat treatment / PWHT experience strongly preferred
- Experience operating multi-zone heat treatment units
- Experience with ICE HeatView software considered an asset

- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS
- Standard First Aid
- Fall Protection
- Confined Space Entry
- Valid driver's licence considered an asset
Location & Duration: Current opportunities are primarily within the Edmonton and Grande Prairie regions. Initial project durations are expected to be approximately 2–4 weeks, with the potential for longer-term and ongoing work as our Specialty Technical Services operations continue to grow.
Candidates should be flexible with travel, work locations, schedules and project requirements. Pay: $29.15-$54.03 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
