Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented data entry clerk. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with various office software. This role will mainly focus on data entry. You are expected to manage daily administrative tasks, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our front desk and administrative processes. Experience with paralegal office procedures is a plus. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional environment while developing your administrative expertise.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace for correspondence, reports, and documentation
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries via phone or email and ensuring excellent service standards
- Assist with clerical tasks such as photocopying, faxing, and maintaining organized records
- Maintain a clean and professional reception area to promote a welcoming environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and basic computer skills
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or bookkeeping software is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and proofreading tasks
- Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette and customer service experience
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
- Prior experience in filing systems, front desk operations, and administrative support is desirable
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in office administration are a plus
