Sahara Rehab Consulting Ltd. is seeking an experienced community-based Kinesiologist that is based in the Metro-Vancouver Area and willing to service clients that reside in Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby Richmond and potentially Delta.
This role is mobile and requires you to travel to provide treatment in the client's home or in a gym or pool setting at a community centre.
Note: Only candidates that have a minimum of two years of practicing experience as a KIN will be contacted for an interview.
The successful candidate will enjoy a caseload with a mix of injuries and disabilities, including brain injury, chronic pain, and acute trauma.
We provide community-based rehabilitation services in the Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley areas to individuals with various medical conditions and disabilities, including brain injuries, soft tissue & orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, and mental health issues. Rehabilitation services are provided to clients in their homes, community centres, and or their respective workplaces so travel to each client is required.

Compensation:
- An excellent hourly rate that will be above the average hourly market rate and be determined by your level of KIN experience and skill set.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, Human Kinetics from a recognized University.
- Must be Registered (in good standing) with the BC Association of Kinesiologists.
- Experience with Return-to-Work planning.
- Minimum of two years of work experience as a kinesiologist.
- Required to have access to a vehicle with a valid BC driver's license as travel within the Fraser Valley area will be required.
- A self-starter that is comfortable working remotely and independently.
- Must have a business license from the city that they are based.
- Proficient in business-related computer skills that include Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
Responsibilities:
- Work with an interdisciplinary team consisting of physiotherapists and occupational therapists in matters regarding treatment, progression, and management of clientele.
- The ability to develop, instruct, supervise, and advancement of an appropriate and safe therapeutic exercise program to meet the needs of the client.
- Increase the confidence of clients in their physical rehabilitation programs and return to work.
- KIN will be expected to provide their treatment in the client's home, third-party gym facility, or local recreational centre.

Contract length: 12 weeks
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week
Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
