Superior Hearing Centre is a locally owned hearing clinic that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with hearing loss through compassionate care, advanced technology, and community outreach. We are looking for a motivated and personable audiology/office assistant. This role involves assisting our audiologists in delivering hearing care services to patients and providing support with office workflow. This role is more focused on direct patient interaction and supporting our clinical staff, with minor administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Provide minor administrative support, including answering phones and assisting with walk-in patients
- Maintain infection control standards and sterilize equipment/tools
- Manage clinic supply orders and inventory
- Troubleshoot hearing aids, perform basic repairs, listening checks and Bluetooth pairings
- Offer patient counselling and hands-on assistance with earmold and hearing aid insertion and Bluetooth pairing
- Assist is pre-fitting hearing aids and assistive devices
- Provide community care services including hearing aid support and cleaning at long-term care homes and assisted living facilities
- With training, conductive occupational hearing screenings and off-site hearing screenings
- Represent Superior Hearing Centre at community events
Requirements:
- Office experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Motivated, professional, and passionate about assisting those with hearing loss
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
