Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be experienced, skilled, responsible and reliable. This role requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety in the workplace. Position will be full-time hours but will be dependent on work load. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. In this position, pay will be determined on experience. Experience in metal roofing and pre-engineered steel structures would be an asset.
Duties
- Assist with site preparation by clearing debris, unloading materials, and setting up and breakdown of work areas
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Support the installation of structures, fixtures, or infrastructure as directed by supervisors
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts.
- Must be willing to travel
Skills
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward assisting others on-site
- Basic understanding of construction safety procedures and willingness to adhere strictly to safety guidelines
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues promptly
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing project needs
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is a plus but not mandatory
- Prior experience in manual labor or construction environments is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
