What is the Job?
Reporting to the Parts Manager, the parts warehouse staff are responsible for accurately and efficiently pick and ship customers parts orders. They are to maintain an organized warehouse and work in collaboration with other members of the parts department to properly serve our customers.
This is role is a steppingstone into an apprenticeship as a Parts Technician, Heavy- Duty Mechanic or Outside Parts Sales. It is an excellent training opportunity to learn our products and processes to grow and develop a career with our business.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pick and package parts orders for pick up or delivery within the required timeframes
- Load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Determining proper method of shipment and correctly prepare shipping documents
- Manage verification, acceptance, counting, and inputting into a computer system all incoming goods and their condition
- Inputting daily inventory & stock orders into a computer system
- Performing inventory counts and data entry
- Report on progress of orders, inventory levels, and order fulfillment problems
- Communicate with fellow staff, customers & couriers in a polite and professional manner
- Provide superior customer service
- Ability to work well independently and with others
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack in a safe manner
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Adhere to all work safety rules & regulations
- Perform various administration, inventory and warehouse tasks as required

What you need:
- Previous warehouse shipping/receiving or order picking experience is an asset. Similar relevant experience may be considered.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, specifically with Microsoft excel
- Organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift up-to 50lbs frequently
- Ability to operate a forklift (certification training provided)
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to work a variety of shift schedules, including weekends and 7 on/7 off
