Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods with precision and creativity.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring presentation matches the highest standards.
- Follow all food safety and handling procedures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Assist in food preparation tasks including measuring, mixing, and assembling ingredients efficiently.
- Package baked goods for service or take-out while maintaining quality and presentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of all pastry orders during busy service periods.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation adhering to kitchen safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a restaurant or bakery environment, ideally in a pastry or baking role.
- Strong skills in cake decorating, food preparation, and baking techniques.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards within the food industry.
- Hands-on experience with food packaging and presentation is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with guests and team members.
- Kitchen experience demonstrating familiarity with food safety regulations and proper equipment use.
