We are currently hiring for a Journeyperson Sprinkler Fitter
PFP is an Island Owned Company operating out of Nanaimo, BC. The majority of our work is local (North Nanaimo to Duncan), with occasional travel to the mainland of BC and Alberta.
Responsibilities and Duties: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of Sprinkler system (Wet and Dry), Installs equipment for sprinkler systems by running pipe, installing sprinkler heads and control systems. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing, Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipes to required shape and size. Document’s installation of equipment and completes forms for the office as required.
Requirements: Journeyperson Sprinkler Fitter Certification
Previous experience working in an industrial setting and valid safety tickets an asset.
