Position Purpose
Reports to the Manager, Administrative Services and works collaboratively with the CO-OP Program Coordinators, to provide a high standard of service to students and employers. Contributes to and plays a key role in the coordination of on-campus interviews. Works effectively and efficiently in an open concept environment characterized by multi-tasking, high volume and pressure intense deadlines. Is responsible for addressing requests (in person, e-mail and phone), and interpreting and applying policies and procedures governing the Co-operative Education Programs to all client groups appropriately and knowledgeably. Participates in the administration and coordination of students’ academic records and all activities surrounding the work-term report course each semester.

Essential Qualifications
Knowledge of management acquired through postsecondary education or equivalent experience
Knowledge and experience in organizing events in order to manage the logistics of on-campus interviews and activities surrounding the interview process
Experience in organizing and prioritizing work and quality control (with attention to detail) under tight deadlines
Solid experience in customer service acting as a resource person
Experience in solving problems and working in a team in an open concept environment
Experience in bilingual writing
Experience in using computer systems and software such as word processors, spreadsheets, SIS, e-calendars, Internet and e-mail, and especially in database management
Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment in which priorities change often
Bilingualism – French and English (spoken and written); to be considered for this position, candidates must be rated at the Low Advanced or higher proficiency level for both oral comprehension and reading comprehension in their second official language. The rating is determined by a proficiency test designed by the Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute.
