The Family Counsellor provides assessment/diagnosis, treatment and follow-up to a specific client group and their respective families. This position provides clinically focused consultation services with other programs or community resources. Acts as a liaison to develop and promote preventative mental health programs in the community. The Family Counsellor collaborates with other health care providers and educational professionals in school settings. Required Qualifications:
Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years mental health experience in comprehensive mental health assessment and the provision of psychotherapy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current CPR certificate at the BLS level C.
