Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services during overnight hours, ensuring smooth operations at the front desk, and maintaining the hotel's reputation for excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and experience in hospitality or customer service environments. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist our diverse guest base. Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and during check-in/check-out processes with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage guest accounts, process payments, and handle reservations efficiently
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing accurate information and assistance
- Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to manage incoming calls and inquiries
- Perform nightly audit procedures, including balancing accounts and preparing reports for management
- Address guest concerns or complaints with a focus on customer satisfaction and resolution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and updating guest records
- Support other hotel departments as needed to ensure seamless guest experiences
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a welcoming attitude and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Experience in front desk operations within a hotel or hospitality environment preferred
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for assisting diverse guests
- Knowledge of hotel management software and reservation systems is advantageous
- Ability to handle guest concerns with tact and diplomacy
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment
